MLS Basics
A multiple listing service, such as the Cambria Somerset Association of Realtors®, is established for us as Realtors® to offer cooperation and compensation on our properties that are listed to other real estate agents. Simply put, it’s a format that enables all Realtors® to work together to either sell your home, or find your dream home.
Seller and Buyer Benefits using MLS
The multiple listing service (MLS) benefits the sellers to a great extent, because they do not have only one agency listing their home and promoting it, the home is available for showing by all members of the multiple listing service.
Likewise, it benefits buyers because their real estate agent has access to the full multiple listing service inventory. In other words, we as American Dream Real Estate Realtors®, can show you not only our listings, but any property listed in the multiple listing service (MLS).
This is why it is so very important to choose a Realtor® that has your best interest in mind and stay with that agent until you find your dream home.
